Star Trek Legends now available on Windows PC via Steam

Make it so.

Star Trek Legends is no longer an Apple Arcade exclusive, now available on Windows PC via Steam.

The new PC release is currently in Steam Early Access and offers “all of the content from its mobile counterpart along with quality-of-life changes and Steam exclusive content,” according to publisher Tilting Point.

“Collect and command a roster of 95 playable characters available from day 1, each with 3 to 4 unique skills,” Tilting Point continued. “Unleash the potential of your team with characters from across the entire history of the Star Trek franchise.”

Players will take command of a new starship, the Artemis, and collect Star Trek heroes and villains from all eras and franchises. A great selling point, at least on Apple Arcade, is that all this was happening without microtransactions, so hopefully that “Steam exclusive content” isn’t just a chance for Tilting Point to pad its bank account. We’re organising to check out the release, so we’ll report back when we know more.

Update: Thankfully, our time with the PC version of the title has shown that microtransactions are still not a thing within the adventure title. Rejoice!

At the time of writing, and for 20 more hours, Star Trek Legends is offered at a 25% discount, or $22.77 AUD here in Australia. You can also check out the game’s Steam page to download a demo before you decide on a purchase.

Star Trek Legends is available now on iOS and Mac via Apple Arcade, or as a standalone purchase on Windows PC via Steam.
