Sony charging $110 AUD for Horizon on PSVR2

Australian PlayStation VR2 pricing is too damn high!

Australian PlayStation VR2 game pricing has been revealed, and those prices may be higher than you’d expect.

For starters, Sony’s first-party Horizon Call of the Mountain has an recommended retail price (RRP) of $109.95 AUD, quite comparable to its first-party, non-VR PS5 price point of $124.95 AUD.

Star Wars Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Enhanced Edition isn’t priced as high at $75.95 AUD, but is a stark contrast to the title asking price on Meta’s Oculus: $38.99 AUD.

Other price points range from The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners Chapter 2 ($59.95 AUD) to The Light Brigade at $37.95 AUD (thanks, Kotaku).

These prices follow that of the PlayStation VR2 unit itself ($879.95 AUD without Horizon, and $959.95 AUD with… so technically a bargain), and a price hike on the PS5 itself.

What do you make of Aussie PSVR2 pricing? Sound off in the comments, below.
