Microsoft allegedly bringing Xbox Game Pass to Nintendo Switch

Microsoft is allegedly bringing Xbox Game Pass to Nintendo Switch, according to a report from Direct Feed Games.

The report suggests that Microsoft is looking to bring Xbox games to Switch through a combination of ports as well as streaming titles to the platform via its Project xCloud technology. One game specifically mentioned as getting ported to Switch is Ori and the Blind Forest; streaming titles to Switch is already being done — Resident Evil 7 and Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey are currently available as streaming-only options in Japan.

Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox Live support will be offered to iOS, Android and Switch; already, Minecraft offers Achievements on Nintendo Switch. Moreover, Xbox head Phil Spencer has said in the past that he’d like to see Xbox Game Pass on “every device”, so Xbox Game Pass on Nintendo Switch might be more likely than you’d think.
