What the Rage 2 reveal means for other games leaked by Walmart

Today’s Rage 2 reveal lends credence to the existence of a number of other, as yet unannounced, games.

Last week’s leak by Walmart Canada suggested we’ll be seeing these titles announced at or ahead of E3 2018:

  • Rage 2
  • Just Cause 4
  • Splinter Cell
  • Dragon Quest 2
  • LEGO DC Villains
  • Borderlands 3
  • Gears of War 5
  • Forza Horizon 4
  • Assassin’s Creed
  • Metroid Prime 4

Obviously, the Rage 2 listing was correct… so it’s not a stretch to trust the rest will be too. With that assumption in mind, we submit the following observations and questions.

  • Avalanche Studios has been confirmed as co-developing Rage 2, we wonder if the studio is pulling double duty, also developing Just Cause 4. If not, who is?
  • Post-apocalyptic games might be 2018’s zombie game (or battle royale); both Rage 2 and Borderlands 3 will sport the setting.

Anything else you want to add? Do you think some of the titles above won’t be confirmed at or ahead of E3 2018? Sound off in the comments area, below.
