Here’s how to set GoldenEye 007 modern controls on Switch

And you've got two options.

GoldenEye 007 is out now on Nintendo Switch and Xbox, and while the latter release instantly controls like the modern shooter, the former is straight out of N64.

Luckily, users have found two ways to make GoldenEye 007 play much more like a modern shooter on Switch. Here’s how.

Ultimately, modern controls begin at one of two presets: 1.2 Solitaire and 2.3 Domino. Both will require some extensive remapping, and really, both are best played using two Joy-Cons.

There are some extensive remaps to be done, so check out a lovely guide from Cuesport 77 here on 1.2 Solitaire and a TikTok guide on 2.3 Domino from taubut here.

GoldenEye 007 is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and Switch. It’s free to users as part of Rare Replay, Xbox Game Pass or Nintendo Switch Online, depending on your platform of choice.
