Far Cry 5 real-life Platinum Trophy up for grabs in Australia

Far Cry 5 PlayStation Plus users can compete to earn a real-life Platinum Trophy, Sony today confirmed.

The PlayStation Plus Platinum Hunters program is being extended to Ubisoft’s newest, meaning the Far Cry 5 Aussie PlayStation Plus subscriber to earn the first digital Platinum Trophy can win a real world equivalent.

As with past Trophies, once a player has earned “all in-game Trophies and receive[s] the Platinum Digital Trophy” on PS4, he or she must “snap a screenshot using the SHARE button and upload it across Facebook or Twitter tagging @PlayStationAU and using the hashtag #PlusPlatinumHunters.”

As you’d gather, you need to also subscribe to Sony’s PlayStation Plus program to be eligible.

Far Cry 5 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 27 March.
