343 had to ask Halo fans to stop sending pizza to its office

Halo fans have inundated 343 Industries’ office with pizza after the announcement that The Master Chief Collection would release on PC this year. So much so, in fact, that the developer has had to practically beg fans to stop.

The offer of pizza can be traced back to a Reddit thread from about a week ago; there, a fan said he would “buy the first 343 employee that comments on this pizza if MCC for PC gets announced.” Flash forward to this week and said announcement, and many of the game’s fans have decided to honour the initial request by sending pizza to the staff who work at 343’s Redmond, WA headquarters.

343’s Brian Jarrard took to Twitter yesterday showcasing pizza deliveries, eventually asking fans to stop.

343 Industries leaned on the pizza joke during its actual reveal that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would release on PC, so it makes sense that fans would too. In addition to that tremendous news came the confirmation that Halo: Reach would also be added to the bundle.

Now we’re pretty hungry for pizza. How about you?
