Grounded shows you how to survive if shrunk down in Australia

In celebration of Grounded's retail release.

Xbox Australia and New Zealand has teamed up with entomologist Dr Brysan Lessard for some tips and tricks should you ever, um, become shrunken down and need to survive in an Australian backyard.

Extremely probable, I know.

Thankfully, the tips serve equal purpose as useful within Grounded, an early access game launched by Obsidian that’s now in its full retail release.

Tips include such gems as building a shelter (useful for respawns in-game), eating insects and drinking water (useful to keeping your health up), donning some armour (useful for, you know, not dying), taking on a pet as an insect (that’s just plain cute) and exploring (might as well, eh?).

We previewed Grounded way back in 2020 (in the before times) over at London X019. Since that time, Grounded has received several content updates; its full retail release also has added a robust story mode.

Grounded is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. It’s also part of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
