Digital Foundry: Quantum Break is “well-optimized around Xbox One hardware”

Digital Foundry has found that Quantum Break is “well-optimized around Xbox One hardware,” with solid performance and visual effects.

Basing their report of the game on its first initial chapters, Digital Foundry says it’s “impressed by the technology” seen so far.

Digital Foundry does admit there are “noticeable compromises at work”; anti-aliasing is “excellent” but there are still some “shimmering present across edges in motion.” Moreover, figuring out the game’s resolution proved “difficult”, as you can see above.

Quantum Break heads to Windows 10 and Xbox One on 5 April.
