Destiny 2 Steam pre-loading is now available ahead of the game’s transition from Battle.net to Steam on 1 October.
Destiny 2 New Light, the free-to-play version of the popular looter shooter, can be accessed here on Steam. Pre-loading of Shadowkeep, the game’s upcoming expansion, is also possible if you’re prepared to pay for it.
Players who’re planning on moving over to Steam are also required to prepare their characters ahead of time — you can find out more on that right here. Part of the process also enables cross-saves so you could also potentially play on Xbox One and PS4.
