Destiny 2 Solstice Armour can be masterworked after event

Destiny 2 Solstice Armour can be masterworked after the event concludes on 28 August, developer Bungie has recently confirmed.

There’s a slight catch though, in that the 400-level Solstice Armour needs to be collected before the Solstice of Heroes event ends on 28 August. If you have Solstice Armour of a lower level, you’re borked — as the armour sets require elemental orbs to level up, you’ll find the task impossible as the orbs will no longer generate after the event itself. Because the highest-level armour doesn’t have event-specific objectives to fulfil, you can complete them at any time.

One requirement to masterwork armour is to hit the highest level of Valor in the Crucible. Bungie today detailed when the change from Season 3 to Season 4, in-game, means for Solstice Armour.

“Players should be aware that Valor ranks reset at the conclusion of Season 3. If players do not unlock their masterwork for achieving Legend in their Valor ranking by the end of Season 3, their Valor rank will reset and they will have to begin anew in Season 4,” Bungie advised.

Not sure how Destiny 2‘s Solstice of Heroes event works? No worries — we’ve got you covered here. And there’s still plenty of time to nab that armour!

Apart from that, Bungie has made a Vital Information thread that should tackle any questions you have.

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
