Destiny 2 Clan changes are coming in Season 6

A host of Destiny 2 Clan changes will soon be implemented as part of Season 6, Season of the Drifter, developer Bungie has detailed.

“We’re returning to the Destiny 2 launch system for gaining clan experience,” Bungie wrote as part of its weekly update. “Go play activities in the game and you will earn clan XP and level up your clan.

That change means daily Clan Bounties are superfluous and will be removed. Moreover, Clan Bounties will be changed so that three weekly bounties will be on offer, each requiring playing modes with fellow clanmates. One will be PvE focused, one will be PvP focused and the final one will be Raid focused.

Moreover, Clan rewards will be changed as follows, depending on your Clan’s rank:

  • At rank three, you earn mod components when completing a weekly bounty.
  • At rank four, you earn enhancement cores when completing a weekly bounty.
  • At rank six, your clan will unlock a fourth weekly bounty.

The Clan changes will go live with Destiny 2 Season 6, Season of the Drifter. A start date for Season 6 has not yet been set.

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
