Death Stranding Director’s Cut PC release coming 2022

Ready for more?

A Death Stranding Director’s Cut PC release will be available later in 2022, both Kojima Productions and 505 Games recently announced.

The title, which is slightly different from Death Stranding on PS4 (2019) and Death Stranding on PC (2020), falling in line with Death Stranding Director’s Cut on PS5 (2021). Sadly, the Monster Energy cans which so predominantly featured in the original (above) have been replaced by a generic variety instead.

Available on Steam and the Epic Games Store on Windows PC, the title will make use of Intel’s new Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) tech. In line with Director’s Cut, the title will include new missions and areas alongside new methods of delivery.

We reviewed the original Death Stranding here, calling it an “irredeemable piece of garbage”.
