Crackdown 3 officially delayed to February 2019

Crackdown 3 is officially delayed to February 2019, Microsoft today confirmed.

After a week of side-stepping the issue, Microsoft told Windows Central that rumours of another delay were true.

This delay is to “ensure it delivers the experience” fans are hoping for, Microsoft said.

Rumours of the delay started when Amazon Spain began to cancel pre-orders of the game. Microsoft used that opportunity to stall ahead of today’s confirmation after another round of rumours kicked up yesterday.

Microsoft has promised that we’ll see some of Crackdown 3 at E3 2018. The title was first delayed to 2018 back in 2017.

What do you make of the game? Is it a lost cause at this point? Why or why not?

Crackdown 3 will head to Windows PC and Xbox One in February 2019. The title is an Xbox Play Anywhere title that will be added to Xbox Game Pass at launch.
