Australian PS5 pre-orders are live right now

Australian PS5 pre-orders have gone live right now, 8am AEST on 17 September.

You can pre-order a PS5 from the following retailers, and we’ll continue to update this page as we find more locations. As a reminder, the PS5 is priced at $749.95 AUD and the PS5 Digital Edition $599.95 AUD.

• The Gamesmen: PS5 (with optical disc drive)
• Amazon.com.au: PS5 (with optical disc drive)
• Big W: PS5 (with optical disc drive) ($50 deposit; 1 per customer) 
• Big W: PS5 Digital Edition ($50 deposit; 1 per customer)
• EB Games: PS5 (with optical disc drive) ($200 deposit required; 1 per customer)
• EB Games: PS5 Digital Edition ($200 deposit required; 1 per customer)

Update — 11.24 am, 17 September: JB’s exhausted its pre-order allocation and EB is now taking pre-orders for “post launch” in 2020.

While the PS5 is priced at $749.95 AUD (PS5) or $599.95 AUD (PS5 Digital Edition), those who trade in old PS4s will receive considerable discounts, as follows:

• PS5: $449 AUD with a trade-in of a PS4 Pro
• PS5 Digital Edition: $349 AUD with a trade-in of a PS4 Slim
