Assassin’s Creed III & Liberation Remastered gets a confirmed release date

Update: Nintendo has confirmed that both Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered and Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation Remastered will be released on Nintendo Switch on 21 May.

Original story: Ubisoft has finally confirmed Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will launch on 29 March 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

It includes all single-player DLC as well as Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation Remastered, which was originally a 2012 PS Vita game that got a HD overhaul on PS3 and Xbox 360 two years later.

Assassin’s Creed III Remastered runs on a new engine, improves some gameplay mechanics, and overhauls the visuals with 4K and HDR support.

It was originally announced as part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass, but has since been confirmed as a standalone release.

Reports last month suggested Assassin’s Creed III is also coming to Switch. It wasn’t mentioned during Ubisoft’s release date confirmation.
