Spider-Man Remastered PS4 to PS5 save transfer now available

You might have the chance to nab an easy Platinum.

Spider-Man Remastered now allows for PS4 to PS5 file save transfers from the original PS4 version of the game, Sony and Insomniac Games today declared.

The process to transfer your save game is quite similar to that seen between the PS4 and PS5 versions of Spider-Man Miles Morales.

To do so:

  • On the PS4 version of Spider-Man, start the game and go to the load game screen
  • Highlight the save you wish to move over to PS5 and hit R1 for Upload Save
  • Confirm the process
  • On the PS5 version of Spider-Man Remastered, select New Game and head into available save slots
  • Hit R1 for Download Save and the save from the second step, above, should become available to your game.

Any Trophies you’ve earned inside the PS4 version of the game should automatically pop on PS5… so enjoy that Platinum if you’ve earned it.
