Here's hoping all of the ol' cheat codes still work in the new version of the game!
Scott Pilgrim vs the World makes its triumphant return on current-gen consoles this week, and in anticipation we’re reminding you of a host of old cheat codes that used to work on the old PS3, Xbox 360 version of the game.
Here’s hoping they all still work, eh?
Scott Pilgrim vs the World cheat codes entered on title screen
The following codes can be entered on the game’s title screen (below; aka the one with a yellow background prompting you to hit a button to continue on):
Code description | Inputs |
Boss Rush mode |
|
Zombie Survival mode (in World 6) |
|
Blood mode |
|
Allow two players to select the same character |
|
Change coins into animals |
|
Begin every level with the Power of Love sword |
|
When input correctly, you’ll hear a chime. Didn’t hear the chime? Try again.
Scott Pilgrim vs the World cheat codes entered in different locations
There are a couple codes that are input in different locations. They’re detailed below.
Code description | Location | Inputs |
Joseph’s Room (sound check) | In the level select map (that looks like a Mario level select screen) |
|
Noble Sacrifice (trade a life for $50) | At any time when actually playing in-game |
|
We’ll of course validate the codes on current-gen consoles when we’ve got access to the game itself. Update: We did, and the Noble Sacrifice code has changed in the 2021 release. We’ve updated it above and further detailed the change here.
Scott Pilgrim vs the World heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5 and Switch on 14 January 2021.
