Powers: Months after Australian availability, Sony axes its television show

Co-creator Brian Michael Bendis has taken to Twitter to confirm that Sony has cancelled Powers, a PlayStation Network-exclusive television series.

this is hard to tweet, but word is that @POWERStheSERIES is sadly, no more. season 2 was the last. at least for now. 1/2

Confirming that the show hasn’t been picked up for a third season, Bendis did later tweet that he’s hopeful the series could return in some form down the track.

Powers finally made its way to Australia in June, a full year after its initial release in the USA.
