FIFA 17 confirmed to use the Frostbite engine

EA today confirmed FIFA 17, adding that the mega-popular football game will use EA’s Frostbite engine.

“Frostbite unlocks a whole new world of possibilites for the FIFA franchise and its fans,” said EA’s David Rutter. “We have never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences we are going to deliver with FIFA 17.”

Those who pre-order the FIFA 17 Super Deluxe Edition will also receive up to 40 FIFA Ultimate Team Jumbo Premium Gold Packs, Team of the Week loan players and other FUT content.

FIFA 17 will be available on Windows PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 from 27 September in North America and 29 September everywhere else. The game will have early access on Xbox One’s EA Access program.
