Gamers in Myanmar have had access to EA’s Origin service blocked since September.
Originally instituted by EA after US laws banned offering services to select countries, that decision hasn’t been effect since 7 October. EA says it’s not “working to restore access” to the country.
“We are working to restore access to Origin for our players in Myanmar,” an EA representative told Engadget. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we’ll share updates on timing as soon as possible.”
We’ll let you know when access is restored.
