Original story: As you may already know — sorry, we’re away on holidays — the Xbox One X is now available to pre-order. The limited edition Project Scorpio version of the console has been confirmed and is priced at $649 AUD, just like the regular edition of the True 4K console.

EB Games Australia has advised they’ll be taking more Project Scorpio limited edition pre-orders from 12.00 pm AEST on 23 August — use this link to attempt to secure yours.
Prior to this announcement, the retailer was accepting names on their waitlist, found here.
The retailer also has a deal where you can trade in an Xbox One S and a single Xbox One game to receive the Xbox One X for $429 AUD.
JB Hi-Fi
The Project Scorpio limited edition console is no longer available for pre-order at JB Hi-Fi — the original link is now dead, seemingly taxed.
Microsoft Store
The Microsoft Store also had the Project Scorpio edition up for pre-order, but it has sold out as well.
