Say goodbye to Sony’s PSP storefront and the PlayStation TV

Sony today confirmed that the PSP’s native storefront will be discontinued alongside the PlayStation TV.

The PSP on-device storefront will cease on 31 March, though content can still be purchased online via the PlayStation Store website. Previous purchases can be accessed via the PSP’s downloads list. In-game purchases will also remain intact.

The news comes as Sony also confirmed it will no longer ship the PS TV in Japan. The PS TV was discontinued in the United States of America late last year.

Let’s have a moment’s silence.
