Bandai Namco is bringing Japanese games to the West because we’ve changed

Dualshockers has spoken with Bandai Namco Producer Koji Nakajima, asking what has driven the company’s recent spate of Western releases for niche Japanese games. Nakajima says it was not Bandai Namco that changed but the Western audience, making it more palatable for them to release games based on anime and Japanese comics.

Nakajima talked specifically about fighting game J-Stars Victory VS+, being release for PS4 in June. We can only hope they continue on this path, and that other Japanese developers and publishers follow their lead.
