Xbox to address PS5 exclusive rumours next week: Phil Spencer

That... doesn't sound like good news for Xbox owners.

Xbox head Phil Spencer has taken to social media to say that the company will address rumours of it releasing its first-party titles to PS5 and Switch next week.

“We’re listening and we hear you,” Spencer wrote.

“We’ve been planning a business update event for next week, where we look forward to sharing more details with you about our vision for the future of Xbox,” he continued. “Stay tuned.”

There’s not a lot to go off with this statement, apart from the fact that Xbox will address the rumours of titles like Hi-Fi RushSea of ThievesStarfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle heading to Switch and/or PS5. The optimistic Xbox players reading this statement may decide to take “our vision of for the future” to mean that exclusives will remain exclusives, while others will take that to mean a new, multiplatform approach at Xbox.
