Xbox takes a jab at the PS5’s vertical stand

Xbox has taken to Twitter in the wake of a PS5 teardown video, demonstrating how the Xbox Series X can go from vertical to horizontal orientation without the need for tools.

Said PS5’s teardown video, released overnight, shows that you’ll need a screwdriver to first remove a screw that’s holding its vertical stand in place. That screw can be housed within the stand itself, and the stand can be clipped back onto the PS5 before it’s laid horizontally.

The Xbox Series X, on the other hand? Well, you just lay it down. Sadly, the Xbox UK tweet that took the potshot has since been removed, but it’s still quite funny nonetheless.

The Xbox Series S & X head to store shelves on 10 November. The PS5 follows on 12 November.
