Xbox Stereo Headset a wired version of a great design

A perfect replacement for those looking.

Microsoft has recently announced its Xbox Stereo Headset, a wired version of the Xbox Wireless Headset that we reviewed back in March of this year.

“The Xbox Stereo Headset features many of the design elements found the Xbox Wireless Headset,” wrote Microsoft’s Jessica Tsujikawa.

“The flexible, lightweight design with an adjustable headband utilizes plush cushioning to spread pressure more evenly around the top of the head. Ultra-soft large earcups will keep you comfy during those ‘extended’ play sessions, and easily accessible on-ear controls for volume and mute will make this a staple in your gaming arsenal. Connect directly to the Xbox Wireless Controller or other devices through the 3.5mm audio jack, no batteries required.”

The Xbox Stereo Headset is available from 21 September and will retail for $89.95 AUD here within Australia. If you’re looking for the wireless option, you can try to grab the Xbox Wireless Headset (they’re out of stock at present) for $149.95 AUD.
