Xbox Series X’s newly designed wireless controller has a Share button

The Xbox Series X will sport a wireless controller with a new design complete with a dedicated Share button, Microsoft today confirmed.

“Alongside Xbox Series X, we also unveiled the new Xbox Wireless Controller,” a post on Xbox Wire states. “Its size and shape have been refined to accommodate an even wider range of people, and it also features a new Share button to make capturing screenshots and game clips simple and an advanced d-pad derived from the Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller.”

You can see the new Share button pretty much in the centre of the controller (above), between the Start and Menu buttons.

Best yet, the new Xbox Wireless Controller will be compatible with Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs alongside the new Xbox Series X.

Microsoft today confirmed Project Scarlett’s actual name is Xbox Series X. Expect the console (and the new controller) in the 2020 holiday season.
