Xbox One’s March update includes easier Guide, capturing, Beam streaming and more

Xbox One owners today gain access to a simpler Guide, Beam streaming and more, as Microsoft has started to roll the console’s March update out to all users.

A single press of your Xbox One controller’s Guide button will now bring up all home screen functionality via a left-hand sidebar. It also prompts for screenshot and video clip capture without the need for a double press.

The update also integrates Beam streaming — as Microsoft has recently acquired the Twitch-like service — alongside parental controls that determine a user’s screen time.
