All Xbox One users can now gift games to others

All Xbox One users can now gift games to others, Microsoft today has confirmed.

Available to Insider users since October, the ability to purchases games as gifts is now available on the Microsoft Store and its associated web equivalent. The gift option is right beside the ‘Buy’ button in all cases.

Gifting a game will generate a game code that will then need to be redeemed by the person you choose to gift it to. I don’t have Need for Speed: Payback yet, if anyone’s keen to try out the feature.

Are you planning on using the gift functionality over this holiday season?
