Xbox Cloud Gaming promises “performance improvements” on iOS

We detail how you can benefit on both iPhone and iPad.

Xbox Cloud Gaming has promised “performance improvements” on iOS devices including iPhone and iPad.

While Microsoft didn’t detail how the improvements were achieved, it stated that players “should have a smoother and more responsive gameplay experience” as a result of the changes.

To make sure you’re using Xbox Cloud Gaming at its full potential on iOS devices, launch Safari and head to Xbox.com/play in your browser. Microsoft also suggests that players add Xbox Cloud Gaming to their iOS Home Screen by launching the browser, heading to the URL and then selecting Share > Add to Home Screen.

Those looking to provide Microsoft with additional feedback can do so using in-game options after a title has launched.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is available on Android and PC via the Xbox app, or on iOS, PC and additional devices using a supported web browser.
