Xbox backwards compatibility: 156 games released in 2017

The Xbox backwards compatibility team has wrapped up for 2017, citing some impressive stats.

According to Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb, the Xbox backwards compatible team released 136 Xbox 360 titles, 7 enhanced Xbox 360 titles and 13 original Xbox titles on Xbox One this year.

The backwards compatible team will continue to release new (slash old) titles in 2018.

What were your favourite backwards compatible games in 2017? My votes go to Deadly PremonitionAssassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Crimson Skies.

Any backwards compatible game can be played on Xbox One by inserting a physical disc into the console, or by heading to the My Games & Apps section in regards to digitally owned titles.
