An open world co-op multiplayer shooter all about slaying vampires.
Phil Spencer closed the Xbox and Bethesda E3 Showcase by announcing Redfall, a new game from Arkane Studios Austin that will launch exclusively on Xbox Series X and S, Windows PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming in 2022.
Redfall is an open world co-op multiplayer shooter that has you form the ultimate team of vampire slayers.
“The quaint island town of Redfall, Massachusetts, is under siege by a legion of vampires who have blocked out the sun and cut the island off from the outside world,” revealed Xbox.
“Trapped with a handful of survivors against diabolical enemies threatening to bleed the town dry, choose your hero from a diverse roster, grouping up with others to create the perfect team of vampire slayers.”
Redfall is positioned as a four-player co-op shooter, but it’s also possible to go it alone, as it “blends single- and multiplayer options seamlessly, allowing the player to venture into the darkness alone or to squad-up with up to three friends.”
You can expect Redfall around June or July of 2022 on Windows PC, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. It’s an Xbox Game Pass title.
