Upcoming Evil Dead game is for PC, consoles but not VR

Evil Dead‘s Bruce Campbell has revealed more about an upcoming Evil Dead video game, saying it won’t be available in VR.

“This is a swell time to clarify some incorrect info that might be out there (including from me!): the upcoming Evil Dead video game is being developed for consoles and PC, not VR,” Campbell wrote on Twitter. “Sorry for any confusion.”

Campbell has been drip feeding details of the upcoming game for some time now, a the same time saying he’d be retiring from the role of Ash Williams. Speaking with Bloody Disgusting late last year, Cambell said “they are doing a video game, a whole immersive kind of dealio. I’ll be Ash for that, because I wouldn’t want someone else’s voice hamming it up.”

We’ll have more on the Evil Dead video game as it comes to light.
