Unified Xbox dashboard will run across Xbox Series X, Xbox One & apps

Microsoft has shown off a unified Xbox dashboard that will feature on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, the Xbox Game Pass for PC and Xbox apps for mobile devices.

Truthfully, the new and “visually appealing” experience doesn’t look all that different from the Xbox One dashboard currently in use (alongside new changes to the Store). Changes to existing PC and mobile apps will fall in line with that experience, however, offering up items like consistent notifications across devices.

Moreover, Microsoft says that the new UI features text that’s easier to read alongside a far speedier experience. The new Home screen will load 50% faster than before and will be 30% quicker when coming back from a game. Best yet, it also uses 40% less memory than the last.

Changes will start to roll out to player in the coming weeks and, of course, will be present on the Xbox Series X when it launches this November. In the meantime, you can take a look at changes below.
