Tunic gets surprise Xbox Game Pass day one release

What a bit of news to wake up to.

Tunic is now available as an Xbox Game Pass day one release, developer Andrew Shouldice and Microsoft have confirmed.

The news came out of a special ID@Xbox Showcase earlier today that just happened to coincide with Tunic‘s release date. Imagine that, eh?

If you’re an Xbox or PC Game Pass subscriber, you can grab the title now without additional cost. Otherwise, the charming little Zelda-like is priced between $42.95 to $44.99 AUD and available on both Xbox and Windows PC. You can purchase the title on the Microsoft Store, or on PC via the Epic Games StoreGOG.comHumbleitch.io, and Steam.

Tunic was announced way back in 2018 and is now available on Windows PC and Xbox One. It’s also backwards compatible on Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
