Surprise PlayStation State of Play to focus on Japanese devs tomorrow

Get ready!

PlayStation will hold a 20-minute, surprise State of Play livestream tomorrow that’s focussed on Japanese developers and partners.

The event will kick off at 8.00 am AEST on Wednesday, 14 September here in Australia.

That corresponds to 3.00 pm PT, 6.00 pm ET or 11.59 pm CEST on 13 September for our friends across the pond. As always, you can check your own timezone here.

The event — which will be livestreamed on YouTube; we’ve embedded a video below — will showcase PS4, PS5 and PlayStation VR2 games, Sony confirmed.

“We’ll have some great updates from our amazing Japanese partners and developers all around the world,” Sony continued. “Expect about ~20 minutes covering 10 upcoming games.”

We’ll have all the news from the event as it happens tomorrow morning. In the meantime, what are you hoping for?
