Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order gets a current-gen upgrade on Xbox, PlayStation

Running at up to 60FPS.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order has received a current-gen upgrade on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5.

The update means the game has been boosted from 45FPS (frames-per-second) to 60FPS. Depending on your console of choice, you’ll be running at different resolutions to make this happen.

On PS5, the game will now be rendered at 1200p, while the Xbox Series X will used dynamic resolution and will render between 1512p and 2160p in Normal mode or 1080p to 1440p in Performance mode (via Nibellion).

Released late in 2019, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order didn’t make the cut for Stevivor’s GOTY 2019 awards; instead, it won Best Action-Adventure game this year and also was awarded runner-up honours in the category of Best Direction.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5. It’s also available on EA Play and via Xbox Game Pass.
