Star Trek Online Refractions stars Gates McFadden as Beverly Crusher

The Mirror Universe saga continues.

Star Trek Online Refractions is the final chapter in the MMO’s Mirror Universe arc and stars none other than Dr Beverly Crusher, Gates McFadden.

McFadden’s evil reflection is fitting; she joins TV son Wil Wheaton as the Mirror Universe’s Emperor, Wesley Crusher.

“In our new giant-sized episode ‘Fujiwhara Effect’, Emperor Crusher and ‘The Other’ [aka the Mirror Universe’s version of V’Ger] have made it to Earth,” Star Trek Online‘s Ambassador Kael wrote in a new blog post. “You and your allies must make a desperate attempt to stop him as the galaxy hangs in the balance. If you want to know more, you’ll have to play it – the less spoilers for this one, the better.”

The update is available now on PC and will head to Xbox and PlayStation shortly. We’ll update you when this happens.

McFadden also reprises her role as Beverly Crusher (though the Prime version!) in Star Trek Picard Season 3. The TV show debuts later this month on Prime Video and Paramount+ here in Australia.

Star Trek Online is available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
