Spider-Man playable at Melbourne Esports Open

Spider-Man, The Division 2, Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are just some of the games that will be playable at the Melbourne Esports Open, retailer JB Hi-Fi has confirmed.

JB has a significant presence at the event; it’s already been confirmed that juggernaut Fortnite will also be offered at the JB Hi-Fi Game On Zone via the Fortnite Free-Play Field.

Taking to Twitter, JB has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and Spyro Reignited Trilogy will all have a playable presence at the Game On Zone. JB’s own Stack Magazine confirmed Spider-Man‘s playability the other day, and Press-Start reports The Division 2 is also on the list.

Spider-Man is the first game of that four to be released; it heads to PS4 on 7 September. The Division 2 is the last game of the bunch to head to retail; it’s expected from 25 March 2019.

Taking place over 1-2 September at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, tickets for the Melbourne Esports Open are now on sale via Ticketek. Prices start at $19.90 AUD for juniors and $29.90 AUD for adults. Family day passes start at $79.90 AUD.
