Sony to stop selling the PSP in Japan

According to the Associated Press, Sony has decided to stop selling the PlayStation Portable (PSP) in Japan.

Unavailable in America since January 2014, the PSP has been going strong in Japan for the last ten years.

Sony says they’ve shipping 76 million PSPs, though that count was from two year ago back in 2012.

Sales of the PS Vita aren’t as strong as the PSP, though have surged through the introduction of PS4 remote play on the handheld device.
