Sony drops PlayStation Plus Collection in May

Make sure to download a bunch of PS4 greats before then!

Sony will discontinue the PlayStation Plus Collection, a grouping of a number of PS4 hits, from 9 May.

“From 9 May the PlayStation Plus Collection will no longer be available as a PlayStation Plus benefit,” Sony said in an email to customers sent this morning.

“You can add any of the titles from the PlayStation Plus Collection to your Game Library before 9 May and play at any time in the future with an active PlayStation Plus membership.”

Available since 2020, the collection includes the likes of Batman Arkham Knight, The Last Guardian, The Last of Us Remastered and Resident Evil 7.

Sony was also careful to advise that “PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue, Monthly Games and other existing benefits will not be affected by this change,” as part of the announcement.
