Saints Row November 2022 update brings over 200 bug fixes

... that should have been in the game at launch?

Saints Row November 2022 update will bring more than 200 bug fixes to the beleagured game.

“This November update will feature over 200 bug fixes and stability upgrades, and it will have a particular focus on challenges, overall stability and co-op,” Volition said in an update.

“We’re especially aware of issues some players have been having with co-op and we’re sorry these fixes have taken longer than expected while we apply and test them thoroughly,” it continued. “Separately, we know that the game doesn’t always clearly explain how and when co-op is possible, so we are working on this too.”

The update will also bring a series of quality of life improvements to the title, with Volition also confirming it has put development of extra content on hold while further fixes are implemented.

We reviewed Saints Row earlier in the year, saying it “finds a better tone than its predecessor, but otherwise doesn’t deliver as a reboot, with gameplay and mission structures inferior to past instalments. With the right expectations, there’s still fun to be had, but the endless bugs, glitches and just awful AI make it hard to recommend at launch.”

The always wise Ben advised it was “perhaps best to wait for the inevitable Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Plus Extra release, after it’s been well patched,” and Volition’s actions next month are the first step towards that.

Saints Row is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
