Sony PS5 reveal allegedly coming next week

A Sony PS5 reveal event is allegedly coming as early as next week, a new report suggests.

Bloomberg has today reported that an event will take place on 3 June (likely 4 June here in Australia) and cites sources with “direct knowledge of the matter”. As with everything of late, the sources said that the 3 June date may change over COVID-19 complications, cautioning “the plans have been in flux and that the date may change.”

Previous rumours also alleged that Sony had a June reveal date in mind, so time will soon tell if we’ll get more information or not.

In terms of the PS5 itself, Sony’s recently declared the PS5’s SDD is 100 times faster than the PS4’s HDD, partnered with Epic to show off the Unreal Engine 5, detailed the new DualSense controller and detailed full PS5 specs.
