New Xbox Store design leaked, tested

A new Xbox Store design has leaked, reported — and then tested — by Thurrott.

The new design first appeared via Twitter, where WinCommunity posted the first screenshots of what’s codenamed Mercury, an app running on Windows 10 and designed for console.

Thurrott’s Brad Sams took it one step further by gaining access to Mercury and putting it through its paces. You can take a look at his video below, but it’s largely straightforward — a navigation bar on the left side of the screen allows for search, access to deals, featured titles and more.

It’s unclear where Mercury will pop up — this could be a design intended for Xbox One or Xbox Series X (or both). Time will tell; we’ll report back as we learn more.
