God of War TV show might be coming from Amazon Prime Video

Oooooh boy! Boy.

God of War TV show is likely on the horizon, with Deadline reporting a live action series is being negociated between Sony and Amazon Prime Video.

The outlet’s sources suggest the God of War series — which would likely focus on the events of the 2018 PS4 semi-reboot God of War — would come from creators attached to Amazon Prime Video’s The Expanse and The Wheel of Time.

It also suggests Sony would co-produce the series.

This isn’t Sony’s first foray into television; Last of Us television show is currently in production and stars Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) as Joel and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) as Ellie.

On the gaming side of things, God of War Ragnarok is expected on PS4 and PS5 later this year.
