Dead by Daylight new Resident Evil content includes Wesker, Ada and more

A new leak has players excited.

New Dead by Daylight Resident Evil content will include Albert Wesker, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers, if a new leak is to be believed.

According to DBDLeaks on Twitter, Wesker will serve as this new chapter’s killer and will be known as “The Mastermind”.

Ada Wong (Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 6) and Rebecca Chambers (Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0) will star as the new chapter’s heroes.

The leaker suggests that Wong and Chambers’ perks haven’t been finalised, but Wesker’s have — they include increased vault speed when a survivor nearby performs a vault themselves, the ability to see the auras of survivors within a specific radius and a broken status effect that impacts injured, hooked or downed survivors after a map’s exit gates are powered.

Neither developer Behaviour Interactive or Resident Evil IP owner Capcom have made comment on the leaks. Regardless, this second Resident Evil chapter is expected within Dead by Daylight sometime this year.

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Dead by Daylight is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch. We named it our Best Ongoing GOTY of 2021.
