Brazilian pirates find way to hack PS4, install pirated games

Wololo.net is reporting on an original story by Brazilian site UOL Jogos, who claim that hackers in the country have found a way to hack the PS4 and install pirated games.

According to the english site, journalists at UOL have witnessed the hacking first-hand. It’s claimed that electronics stores in Sao Paulo are changing between $100-$150 USD to install 10 pirated games on a hacked PS4.

Sony Brazil is also allegedly sending cease and desist notices to sites that are advertising the hacking technique, which essentially emulates a valid account — alongside valid game licenses — on a PS4.
