Rogue One writer wants to do Control, Star Fox movies

Gary Whitta, the writer of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, has expressed interested in penning scripts for Remedy’s Control alongside Nintendo’s Star Fox. Already, Remedy Entertainment’s keen to get things moving.

First, Whitta commented upon some Star Fox Twitter art, saying, “I want to write this animated movie.”

Whitta then said he’d like to write a Control script during an AMA, prompting Remedy’s Head of Communications, Thomas Puha, to reach out.

While talking about it isn’t any sort of confirmation a movie’s in the works, we can dream. This isn’t Remedy’s first foray into the world of TV or film; they’ve already made TV content for Quantum Break. Even better, Remedy’s hard at work on an Alan Wake TV show in which Remedy’s Sam Lake will serve as Executive Producer.

Which of Whitta’s potential projects would you rather see?
