Cool?
Microsoft and ASUS today confirmed that the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X will be available from 16 October, but refrained from detailing how much they’ll cost.
“Stay tuned for more details about pricing and pre-orders in the coming weeks,” reads a press release issued today by Microsoft.
“First revealed earlier this year at the Xbox Games Showcase, these devices deliver an era of handheld gaming that makes it easier than ever to access your favorite games from Xbox, Battle.net, and other leading PC storefronts wherever you go.”
While we don’t have pricing details for the Xbox variants of the Ally, we do know that the 2023 ROG Ally will set you back $1,299 AUD for its 16GB RAM, 512 GB SSD variant, and the 2024 ROG Ally X 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD variant is $1,599 AUD.
We’ll keep you informed when we know what these new versions will set you back — and hopefully be able to put them through their paces so you can decide if you want to pull the trigger on one.
We’ve reviewed both the ROG Ally and the ROG Ally X if you’re interested in our thoughts.
